Peace be upon him.
The Prophet Muhammad
(Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam - Peace be upon him)
is the Last Prophet sent to mankind by Allah. He was sent by Allah to
convey to all humans the final and The Most Perfect Religion of Allah, Islam.
Rasul-Allah, Mohammad (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) the Messenger of Allah,
was an example of a perfect human. Every Muslim is required to follow not
only The Quran that was conveyed to mankind through Rasul-Allah
(Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) but also all the teachings, traditions and
rulings of the Prophet (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam).
Hazrat
Barra’ bin Aazib (R.A) says, “I never saw anyone more beautiful than
Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).” (Shamail Tirmizi)
Hazrat Jabir (radiyallahu anhu) reports that once, on a moonlight night, I was looking at
Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and the moon simultaneously, and to me
Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was more beautiful than the moon.” (Shamail
Tirmizi)
Allamah Qurtubi
(rah) says that the true beauty of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam)
had been veiled, for if his true beauty were manifest, it would not be possible to even
glance at him.
The Sahabah (R.A) not only recorded the blessed words of Rasulullah
(sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) but
also ensured that we get a glimpse of his physical appearance too.
Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was an embodiment of spiritual and physical
perfection.
